Q: For your single server co location, what is the server size limit?
A: We accept both rack mountable and tower servers. The server size can
be up to 4U with the same low price.
Q: How do you calculate the bandwidth usage?
A: The statistics are derived by taking a sample of the customer traffic
every 5 minutes on the input and output bits sent and received on the
customer's connection. These statistics are then aggregated over a
monthly period.
Q: Do you offer loaner servers during service transfer?
A: Yes, we do offer loaner servers to help new customers transfer from
their old provider to us. So there is no service downtime when you
transfer your services to Hidev, Inc..
Q: What managed services do you provide with your collocation fees?
A: You don't pay extra fees, the following managed services are
included:
24x7 Unlimited server reboots
24x7 Unlimited service restart
24x7 Monitoring service: One service (port) monitoring per paid server.
Q: What managed services do you offer for additional fees?
A: We offer following services with additional fees:
Network firewall services
Network VPN services
High Availability Load Balancers
Large data storage systems
Network routers and switches
System administration for Unix servers, Windows server, Cisco routers,

Q: Do you sell or rent server hardware and network devices?
A: Yes, we do sell and rent server hardware and network devices. They
include, but are not limited to: Intel based server hardware; storage
systems; network firewalls such as Netscreen, Cisco Pix, and Watch guard
load balancers such as F5 BIG-IPs, Cisco content switches, and Cisco
local directors; Cisco routers and switches, and more.
Rental servers and network devices are fully guaranteed. We will
replace any failed hardware without any labor or parts costs. Purchased
servers and network devices have one-year hardware guarantee. After one
year, you can purchase a service contract from us to avoid extra charges
when hardware fails. We only use fully tested premium quality hardware
for our customers. We have in-house engineers to support e-business and
IT hardware and software. We sell only Dell hardware at great

Q: What electric power do you supply to a rack or a cage?
A: Each full rack has a dedicated 20amp 120V AC power circuit.
Q: Do you have a second data center for backup servers or disaster
recovery?
A: Yes. Besides our main data center in Sarasota, FL, we also have space
located within 20 minutes of the primary location which is available for

Q: What telecom carriers are in your building?
A: Our building hosts: Sprint, Comcast and AT&T.
Q: Do you offer roof top space for wireless carriers?
A: Yes, we do. A 300 ft telecommunications tower is located directly
next to the data center. It is an ideal place for wireless
carriers to collocate their equipment and antennas.
Q: Do you provide voice lines for our co-location equipment?
A: Yes, we do. We offer voice lines from any provider you
wish.
